sandbaggers!…loved the whole playlist. Really enjoyed British Sea Power & Airiel-Cinnamon. Sure all the songs were great that evening in it’s entirety!

Really glad Young Knives was brought back! One line in it is good for me to hear; on the week before my 30th about my acquisce, that the world may never know[that 1 line]! I’m impervious to people’s BS & people talking at me.

Really liked hakikari & half-string & sheffeild 4 from episode 52 & felt like I was watching The Bird Cage with a trani when “Wide Open Space” came about.

    Jetstream is a DOVES track… that’s a typo…

eventhough i do like new order…especially the song from trianspotting…that gives me a shot at liking the doves, since I wasn’t impressed at their first track you played on danger!

I didn’t think that sounded much like New Order.

Had a lot of fun at Split. Thank you!
Next time I will have to step away from the
bar and move closer to the action.

One of the things that I like about the podcast
is that it bridges the gap between the time I listened to and
KNEW a lot of music (the mid to late 80s and early 90s)
and the past 15 years where I pretty much gave up on commercial
    radio.

I was so happy to find Indie 101.5, and when I started hearing promos
for Danger Radio, I couldn’t have been more pleased. WHAT!? A punk,
post-punk, Brit-Pop show? No way! I love that stuff! I usually listened
at home while doing something else – cooking food, assembling furniture,
reading a book. . . I really appreciated Jake Ryan being added to the show,
as the two of you make a good team, and I am happy that you have continued
with the show in podcast form.

As an aside, I really thought that music was going to change in the early 90s
when REM, NIN, The Breeders, RHCP, Sonic Youth, Beck and Nirvana
broke through. I’m NOT saying I like everything that each of these
bands have done, but they were played on AOR, World Class Rock
and Top-40 stations. I thought it was going to be revolutionary, but
it wasn’t. What happened instead of a revolution was an onslaught of
mediocre “sounds like” bands and artists. I am always looking for
“new and different,” even if it is just new to me. Songs like “when my
mind is not live” or “harakiri.” They sound nothing alike, but they
also don’t sound like other songs I know, and I enjoy them both.

Cheers! And I hope to see you both next month at Split.

    -Nala

    “old is new”[music]…and without any of those annoying high pitched tones that go along with those motos of; “30 is the new 20″, “40 is the new 30″, or “pink is the new black”…”old is new”…”old is new”;
I think I’ll take 30, thankyou very much!

That is what I like about danger radio & now the night. It surpasses all the terrible corporate radio & television for that matter! I get the opportunity to find music[that is new to me].

liked the video…kinda missed the breaks on this episode…& missed Nala & Jake fighting about music on the website;]
