The last time I was at Paris on the Platt was in 2006. When I got a coffee. I walked down the street, past the mast bridge, for my lunch hour to return to my trial month that ended w/being released.
I will never forget the look, of judgement, I got from my co-worker, the principles son-not to mention the huge lady I tried to be an assistant for, at my cardboard logod cup. I knew instantly what side I belonged to.
I love the idea of creating your own atmosphere when you are deinfatuated with what is going on! I hope you all attend the opening of split on Feb. 20th if you are invested in music & this show. From one of your peers much success!
I myself have created my own small almost non-existant graphic design business out of masochism[i hope that is not a trademarked statement from Andy Chase]. It is a company!…While I’ve learned how it is to be paid thru crazy escipades & a seemingly waste of time, there is a method. It has all been a learning process. This is me. It has been a challenging road, with not much support, but very well worth it. I did go to too much school for it and dealt with too much BS and too many douchbags…
It would be awesome to create movie/music posters at some point. But I’m not that cool! I love supporting poster illustrators on facebook having come accross some thru an aquantance this last year.
I think that it is great for the industry to have these shows and interviews. It gives people an inside understanding that gets lost when they just go by what they see. So whenever you guys get it together; I just wrote all this because I wanted to put my logo on a gravatar and I had to check the box to be signed up:]
